Why It Matters

Every hour volunteered helps keep Swamp Fest running and thriving. Your time and energy directly support a nonprofit event that gives back to Hernando County and strengthens our community year after year.

Without volunteers, there is no Swamp Fest — and with you, it becomes something unforgettable.

Swamp Fest runs on community spirit — and it’s powered by people like you. From setup to smiles, every helping hand plays a role in bringing this beloved Hernando County tradition to life. Whether you can give a few hours or get more involved behind the scenes, there’s a place for everyone in the swamp family.

Individual Volunteers

  • Guest support and information areas
  • Festival setup and breakdown

  • General cleanup and event assistance

You can also take your involvement further by joining a committee, or our leadership team and help shape the future of Swamp Fest in your community!
