Terms and Conditions

Here are some common questions about becoming a vendor.

  • All vendor materials must be removed by 10:00 AM Monday. Items left beyond this time are at the owner’s risk.

Booth spaces are preassigned at check-in and are final. Vendors must set up within designated markings and sell only approved item, no deviations from item listed on your application will be permitted.

Display your booth ID (name and space number) on your tent and your parking pass in your vehicle. Wristbands are required for all attendees, are non-transferable and must be worn throughout the event.

Vendors are responsible for providing their own tents, weights, tables, chairs, and all display needs. Keep your area clean and deposit waste in designated areas. Do NOT leave food in your trunk or vehicle overnight as there are Swamp critters. Generators are permitted but must not exceed seventy decibels.

Vehicles may enter for unloading and restocking from 6:15–8:30 AM only. All vehicles must exit by 8:30 AM and may not reenter until after guests have exited. Vehicles must be parked only in approved areas. Unauthorized parking may result in towing at the owner’s expense. Do not park in or obstruct handicapped spaces. For mid-event assistance, contact the Swamp Fest Information Tent. Trailers behind booths require prior approval.

Vendors may not sell projectile-launching items (e.g., toy guns, slingshots), raffle tickets, baked goods. Vendors are not authorized to sell any items with or using the Weeki Wachee Swamp Fest: Name, Logo, or Mascot (or any rendition of these) without written prior approval from the BOD as these items are reserved exclusively for Weeki Wachee Swamp Fest. Helium balloons are prohibited due to environmental concerns.

Vendors, sponsors, candidates, and your staff may not leave their booths to solicit to attendees, distribute materials, or collect signatures. Guests must approach all booths on their own. *Approved food vendors may take orders and deliver food within the park.

Political Vendor Policy & Application Details
“Yes, a festival can legally limit or even completely prohibit political vendors. Because festivals are usually private events or permitted public gatherings, organizers have broad control over their vendor lineups, provided the rules do not violate specific public property or anti-discrimination laws.”

On Public Property: “If the festival is held on traditional public forums like city streets or public parks, the rules are stricter. Organizers can still place reasonable, viewpoint-neutral limits (like capping the total number of vendor booths to manage crowd flow or space constraints). However, they cannot discriminate—they cannot allow one political party while banning opposing ones.”

Weeki Wachee Swamp Festival Inc. (AKA: Weeki Wachee Swamp Fest) RENTS out the entirety of Linda Pedersen Park to host this event and in doing so we reserve the right to limit any/all vendor slots.
